Established in 1999, Hospitality Academy provided Department of Labour short skills courses to the industry until getting SETA accreditation in 2005.
Our first accredited learnership programme started with an intake of 72 learners and over the years the numbers have increased to more than 400 learnership candidates and over 3000 learners in our data base who successfully completed different programmes ( individual unit standards , skills programme and learnerships..
We are a 100% black female owned company with a Level 1 B-BBEE rating and is accredited with the CATHSSETA. Our dedicated team and extensive pool of resources are all qualified subject matter experts specialising in hospitality and foodservice related people development initiatives.

Thabang joined Hospitality Academy in 2004 as a facilitator and committed herself to skills development aimed at unemployed youth and job creation.
Since her appointment as CEO of
Hospitality Academy in 2007, she has built relationships with numerous
Corporate Companies and Government Departments, putting Hospitality Academy on
the forefront as the provider of choice. Her main focus is on skills
development for gainful employment in an attempt to address the unemployment
rate amongst youth in South Africa.
